Thank you all for your continued support. This is just the beginning. I feel more confident that I am doing the right thing then I have ever before.

It is going to take time but, we will get past the racial barrier. We are going to start pushing that barrier, right now. Not later, NOW.

Party people, are you with me? Yes, I know you are...

A vision from a true visionary. Keep preaching from the mountain tops (or the cybertop) what has been whispered in your ears. The rhythm, the sound, the beat, I am with you my brother. I especially like these lines:

"What I am trying to do is bring the Church back to the table with the rest of the community and furthermore the rest of the community back with the Church. This issue is much deeper than just a loud mouth talking shit, I play that role. The issue is black people trusting white people and white people following through on their promises."

When we can we connect, I'd like to hear more?

I think this is very exciting - and very good thinking. What a treat it would be to see this whole area come back to the great place it was some years ago. Timmy's ideas are excellent. This city needs people with good ideas. One of my favorite sayings " if you want to change something, you have to change something." Looks to me as if Timmy's ideas would be a very positive step.

Tim, we've been talking about these ideas for a year now. Every time we've dropped the ideas on the kids from Clay St or from the other neighborhoods of Annapolis, they get excited about it! Hence, the interest is there.

Let me build on the idea... Learning how to run recording equipment gives you skills that go beyond the limits of just a studio room. The same principles of audio production can be applied to tv and film production which are all moderate to high paying jobs. Video production, film editing, computer programming, file management, pre & post production, and on and on and on... All of these skills can be applied to a broad spectrum of jobs and industries. The equipment used is universal to all the fields.

BET is in DC. These skills can land someone a job there. MPT is an option. Discovery Channel is in DC. LIVE sporting events and concerts need audio & video techs all the time. The MD/VA/DC area is never short on events needing people with those skills. RADIO STATIONS need people with these skills. TV stations need people with these skills. XM Radio in DC need people with these skills.

This is the Arts & Entertainment District. Or at the very least, it's our little section of it. We CAN make it the premiere focal point of the A&E District if we all work together.

The idea is exciting! It begs for further discussion. As stated, the youth we've chatted with get excited when the topic comes up. Just gotta get together!
