Introducing “The Clay Street Cyphers” …change gonna come


Setting the stage: on the corner of Clay and West Washington each month we do the “Clay Street Supper Club” and the last few months we have been rained out, some were even saying they could predict what would happen on the last Friday of the month weatherwise. Not this time.

Halloween last year we lost a boy only 17 at the hands of another boy 18, so technically we lost 2 from the neighborhood. The losses had nothing to do with Halloween but, as a result Halloween was a nervous time on Clay. Most were worried about trick or treating.
